Usar Palabras Introductorias:

• Utiliza expresiones introductorias como "Can you tell me...?" (¿Puedes decirme...?), "Do you know...?" (¿Sabes...?), "I wonder if..." (Me pregunto si...), entre otras.

Cambiar el Orden de la Oración:

• Cambia el orden de la oración afirmativa a una estructura de pregunta.
  • Ejemplo: She is coming. (Ella viene.)
  • Pregunta directa: Is she coming?
  • Pregunta indirecta: Can you tell me if she is coming?

Usar "If" o "Whether":

• Cuando la pregunta indirecta se refiere a opciones o posibilidades, se puede utilizar "if" o "whether".
  • Ejemplo: Will it rain? (¿Lloverá?)
  • Pregunta directa: Can you tell me if it will rain? / Can you tell me whether it will rain?

Cambiar Verbos Modales o Auxiliares:

• Utiliza verbos modales o auxiliares en lugar de verbos principales.
  • Ejemplo: He knows the answer. (Él sabe la respuesta.)
  • Pregunta directa: Do you know the answer?
  • Pregunta indirecta: Can you tell me if he knows the answer?

Ejemplos de Preguntas Indirectas:

1. Solicitud de Información:

   • Directa: Where is the nearest bank?
   • Indirecta: Could you tell me where the nearest bank is?

2. Pedir Opinión:

   • Directa: Do you like this restaurant?
   • Indirecta: Can you tell me if you like this restaurant?

3. Consulta sobre Planes Futuros:

   • Directa: Will they come to the party?
   • Indirecta: Do you know if they will come to the party?

4. Solicitar Confirmación:

   • Directa: Did she receive my email?
   • Indirecta: Could you tell me if she received my email?

Recuerda que en preguntas indirectas, no invertimos el sujeto y el verbo como en las preguntas directas. Además, a menudo se utilizan verbos modales como "can," "could," "will," o "would" para suavizar la solicitud.
